Silver Bedhead

Silver Bedhead – In the winter of 1945-46, Peggy Guggenheim commissioned Alexander Calder to design a silver headboard; his design combines fish, insect, and plant motifs set among worlds of sea and garden. This set is an ode to this work of art, hand-painted on Aprés Gel X natural round medium length nails (now also available in short length), featuring an iridescent semi-sheer nude base with molten chrome linework, 3D raindrops, and petit rhinestones.

• New clients will receive a free sizing kit in advance of production. Sizes stay on file for all future orders. We will not begin creating your set until we receive your sizes.
• Please note that this is a made to order item that is painted and sculpted by hand; therefore each set is subject to slight and unique variations.
• We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds.
• Nail lengths are averages. Nail lengths are measured from cuticle to free edge and are average values. Smaller nail beds may yield slightly shorter lengths. Refer to your sizing kit for true fit and length.
